Hi,

I know about Totally Triumph in Cheshire but wondered if anyone can recommend any other specialists who know what they are doing around Manchester, Northern Derbyshire, Lancashire etc.

Cheers

Thanks for the info mate, happily I have now found a garage a bit closer to home to do the job.

Cheers though!

Yeah no probs, garages that mainly do work older cars are aliitle thin on the ground. I try to do almost all work myself but there are times when a tune up is best left with a chap with a cryton tuner.
p.s.He's good with capris too

I tackle most jobs myself and what im not sure about I can usually manage with help from my Dad. As you say though, some jobs are just better off in the hands of the pros.

It largely depends on what ypu want someone to do. Classic friendly can mean either Bodge it like we used to back in the day or do it properly type.

Too many fall into the former so tread carefully. Remember that most 'classic' specialists will have zero interest or respect for a Dolomite.

I could recommend someone nr Congleton however if you're talking mechanical.
