sprint engine

hi all
just started striping down spare engine .i think its a tr7 unit cg16565he
all shells look ok all +10 ..
pistons look good ports fare not sure piston size marked on top f any ideas please

John, the F is to let you know which is the front of the piston. It will have an arrow next to it. If you look at the opposite side of the crown there should be some markings there as well.

looked over pistons .there is some markings very hard to make out details.
will have another look .does 62/b make sense

They will, but you need to have the crowns machined for the valve clearance.

engine being machined new pistons +30.. crank reground +20
checked head valve clearance all 13 tho . will do more when block and bit back
