Wow, Welsh claim to fame!!

My sister used to live in the street Tom Jones was born in.

Who else can come up with a crap link to someone famous (and Welsh)?

Well, not wanting to make too much of it, I am a direct descendant of Sarah Nicholas, the woman who persuaded all of the village women folk to line up on the cliffs in their national dress and made the french navy think the army were present when they were trying to sneak in the back door a few centuries ago. If it hadn't been for her we'd all be speaking french now...well german actually, because if the french had invaded they'd have gone belly up over here in 1939/40 too!

Crazy Welsh blokes? retarded more like!

More than a passing resemblance to Robbie Williams I thought. I nearly vomited when he had liposuction and his mates drank it!

OK, my next door neighbours are the parents of the bassist from Jamiroquai. Every few months or so you see an F50 or a Bentley appear, (clapped out 90's crap is more the norm for my street) and you know he's popped home to see mum & dad!

And my sister's boyfriend is the lead singer/guitarist from a band that was big in the 90's but ended up splitting up due to the band being constantly compared to the (completely different in style and much more famous)band of the lead singer's brother.

Guess who...

No sheep connection though.

I saw Kelly Jone out of the Stereophonics in Cardiff once. He barely came up to my shoulder.

I also once saw Michael Douglas pushing a pram round the docks in Swansea.

Michael sheens parents live in Balgan (where im from) and his dads a Jack Nicholson impersonator. And Rob Brydon was born in Baglan...

And so was I funilly enough, and lets be honest, in Dolomite cirles I'm as famous as they get... :P

I've met the Prince of Wales.

He's not very Welsh though, admittedly.

i've been to wales a few times

i watched glynn on big brother and thought he was a tw@t

the girl i work with is sort of welsh.

I know other welsh-ish people

I eat lamb from time to time

I've played rugby

a house i used to live in had slate roof tiles

the language sounds like 'klingon' off star trek and is a bit pointless as there must be about 40 people who speak it

thats about all i have to say about wales, the biggest non-country i've experienced

:rofl4:
