Nice and easy one hopefully...
The fuel line on my Tolly was removed pre purchase and I am looking to refit however the rubber connectors are nowhere to be found and sensibly I want to put new ones on anyway. The Rimmer Bros site isn't too helpful, but I think I need 2 x 144983, which they have, 1 x 156952 and 1x 156383, both of which are NLA.
So, what are the alternatives? Is there a general tubing that does the job I just can't spot?
Cheers, Dan

Re: Fuel Line Rubber Connectors
Normal fuel hose should be fine. On my Dolomite 1300 the steel fuel pipe developed pinholes in a coupleof places so I cut the offending sections out and replaced them with fuel hoses and clips. Just make sure you get the correct diameter hose. A decent motor factor should stock the things you'll need.

I haven't got the paperwork in front of me, but ensure its suitable for unleaded, and whatever else they add nowadays. There is a BS no. but I cant find it at this second. Old fuel hose degrades and blocks up your bits and pieces, got the shirt

Use R9 or R10 rated hose. Hardly anybody seems to keep it, and you usually get the response that it is all OK to use not true)
I had some "normal" fuel hose that started leaking within 12 months. Dangerous.

Funyy that...I have some old bits of the clear plastic type with the see through corded binding running through it. This was disavowed by several mechanics as not being fit
for purpose....
Its been fine on the lawn mower after several years, In the mean time Ive had to replace several bits of fuel line with supposed unleaded compatible high pressure fuel injection
proof hose that has lasted months in some cases...
