Action Pictures (Lots of them!)

#1 Post by 2F45T4U »

I have plenty of shots of my Dolomites just sitting still and wanted something a little different. So have spent this evening out driving with a mate who's in to photography.

Ok they won't be available to view until tommorrow but whilst on one stretch of road a bloke came out to speak to us. Had heard the noise and watched me go up and down this road whilst my mate got pictures.
"Whats all this noise?"
"ermm there's nobody about, it's just a bit of noise"
"come this way and have a word.... Nah just kidding!"
Phew!

He then took us to the back of his house where he had a Rover V8 powered Stag he was welding when he'd heard the noise! Also in his garage was a TR6 in pieces and a chopper! Stood there and chatted for a while. He's welding 3mm plates along the bottom of his sill! Should firm it up a bit :D

Just made me realise how owning a Dolly... Is bloody Awesome 8)

Stay tuned for pics

The next set suprised me when I saw them, I felt the car lose grip and then I span the inside tyre up the hill but still, I'm doing about 15mph in these pics! 30-40 foot before this corner I was at a standstill at traffic lights!

Nice pictures. I very much like the last 4.

The one with the 20MPH circles is really good. It looks retro and cool like an album cover.

I agree Mart; only critisism is the letting boards in middle distance on one of the leafy ones, but I'm sure Lewis could 'lose' them!

Yer he had seen them boards and said they'd ruin the pic.

He's away nearly every weekend at rallys taking photos

He's got his rally license too and has just bought

If that was a picture of a Dolly rather than an Escort I'd be prepared to buy a copy. Are we talking about Marcus?

We are indeed. Unfortunatly nobody rallys Dolomites  So the only pictures he's got of a dolly is my yellow one sliding around some forest track

Check the entry list to the historic rally series and the R.A.C. I think theres at least one in each.
