jonners, m8, its a retro thing, i've done the big thumpin trail bike, the modern high speed thing and fancied a change. this bike is over 20 yrs old, although it certainly doesnt look like it. it actually looks like a slightly tricked up bandit, but quite personalised, and fairly subtle compared to a lot of the streetfighter fraternity.

its not mentalist fast, like i said ought to be good for 120 tops, and not unlike a sprint, its about acceleration.

the whole bike thing - when you've sat like a muppet in as many traffic jams as i have, wasted literally hours plodding at snail rate sucking in exhaust fumes from all the vehicles around you, trawling thru cd's and generally being bored to tears, the ability to whip through it all and turn a 1 hour journey into a 30-40 minute journey, trust me, the experience is quite liberating.

admittedly its not for everybody, i know bikers who've been splatted by cars and even killed by cars, and thats a big turn off, but i have to say being on a bike then driving a car does keep you more sharp and alert to other road users and more of the sceptics should at least try it...

Just jealous at the traffic ability....
