Dolomite key blank -

#1 Post by knightrider150 »

I had a look on ebay- I see a couple of key blanks for stags and for Tr7's but nothing for dolomites.

Can anyone point me in the right direction - Ive been meaning to get a couple of spares for I dunno... 14 years...

Thanks

James.

A good locksmith should be able to copy the keys for you. For the door locks/ignition the locksmith used Silca CEM2 blanks & Silla UNI 11A blands for the boot/glove compartment.

What good is it buying a blank when you can go to a locksmiths and get one cut?

I think it's to do with the fact that some high street locksmiths just don't have the certain key blanks that us old car owners need...!

I got mine done at a high street locksmith. The blank was found listed under "Mini".

Stag ones will definitely do the trick as that's what I bought (from ebay) to do my fleets spare keys. I can't remember who the seller was or I'd recommend him, I ordered 4 and got 8!
I too could not find a local locksmith who still kept these blanks but any of them were more than willing to cut the blanks I supplied.

Look on ebay for the seller wilmotlockman you can find his contact details in the community as he is not at present selling an item. He is a dolomite key expert and can not only provide you with blanks but with replacement genuine keys, used him before excellent service.

Is the ignition/door key also referred to as the 'NH Series' ?

ebay pics suggest it is but I can't be sure of the scale...

My (only) key is 32mm from tip to shoulder.
After 37 years I've finally got my hands on a Mimosa Sprint :-)
