Wires left over!!

now.... im presuming these are to do with the overdrive?



my car has wiring for overdrive in 2nd. but im not sure how to wire it up

also are you able to get at the overdrive connectors while the gearbox is in situ?

That looks like fun. I suppose the ones at the top connect to the gearstick loom bit. the white ones at the bottom definitely go onto the overdrive switch, I guess you already have it connected to the fusebox, so one of those wires must go to earth. Which leaves one spare. I guess if you fit it up it might become clearer.

The long black wire goes to the o/d solenoid, the red & black (in the grey sheave) go to the g/stick, the 2 greens go to the reverse switch & the other 2 go to the o/d inhibitor on top of the g/box.
