Well, it has taken quite of work to sort out my TR7 Sprint, but I can tell you that it is well on its way to being the most powerful 2.0-liter car I have ever driven.
The engine has .040 pistons, a ported and polished/intake head opened out to TriumphTune specs, an STR091 cam and HS8 carbs running on UO needles. And tubular exhaust. I have no idea what the horsepower might be -- anyone have a clue?
She is very, very smooth. She pulls like a freight train steady and very strong. Power really kicks in in the 4,500 range, though since she only has 275 miles on the new engine, I haven't revved much higher than that.
I still need to try needles a bit richer and come up with the best ignition timing. She's at around 14 degrees before right now.
But I can tell my TR7 Sprint can beat a stock TR8.
