you used to see minis with trailers made out of the back end of another mini and as a combo it looked very cool - mind you there were a lot of minis around then.....

If it was better made it would look ok behind a dolomite, but like you say a bit of a waste, especially treating the doors ike that....that said, how many other uses are there for the rear end of a scrap dolomite

Don't let our Adam see this....

I had toyed with this idea myself but using a boot lid and bonnett to give it a lid and using a front end as well.

Hmm - got to admit it - I think that's quite cool! I can just see that, sprayed Carmine red with Sprint alloys being towed behind my car - could stash my surf gear inside it too - and Bath's not so far from Swansea ...

Yep, I was thinking a nice respray and Sprint wheels.

Makes a rare car by today standards even more of a rare site.

Saw this at the Enfield Pageant a few weeks ago..

Also there is a guy with a vw camper van who has done the same thing!!

I think its a good idea, it looks different, and it utilises a vehicle which would only end up as a scrapper!!

so long as it does utilise a vehicle that would end up a scrapper, not a resto project or worse still a good one that someone got for cheap just to cut in half.....

I would never to this to a good salvagable vehicle but if i ever come across a car that is a total scrapper then its a good chance todo something different!!

That car a Enfeild had a lot of people looking at it as it is different!!

Unfortunately my license dont allow me to tow

Great for Ferrying 'stuff' to and from Car Shows. If only we had somewhere to store it, mind you, see it has caught Alun's eye.

I've also seen the Wolseley 1300 'Trailer' and always thought that was a great idea, a bit more weather proof

I quite like it, very original for a dolly

^^^^ What he said! :D

I think (I shudder to say it though) a 2 door Toledo would make an even better trailer especially with the two verticle rear lights either side of the "load area", you could then have things sticking out the back.

From the front it looks like a barge, just fill it with coal and put it in a canal. Get it horse drawn too - then it really would look original.

Hopefully it won't float and we'll never see the likes again.

It makes me shudder and cringe.
