Since it's not a Dolly..........

I'm offering this for sale here

1971 Vitesse mkII convertible PROJECT one of the last few built, a steering lock model. Not originally overdrive but since the engine and box are missing, the choice is yours! The signal red paint IS original, the chassis is sound, all the rotoflex gear is there and the body is reasonable. The main bad bits are the doors (a good white one, n/s i think, comes with it) the boot floor where it meets the axle tunnel on the o/s and the lower front of the o/s/r wing. There is also repairable damage to the n/s/f wing corner (pictured) of the otherwise very sound bonnet, there are 3 front valances, a ratty steel one and 2 GRP ones, seats dash and interior are all there, though not brilliant, the hoodframe is in good order and, though the hood is nothing special it will keep some of the rain off! V5 present and a lot of history. The original engine was scrapped cos it had a conrod showing on the outside and the original gearbox was sold off as the plan was to fit a 1300 engine for the guys son to drive, however, he turned his nose up and bought a modern, so it has languished in a garage till now.
We are looking for offers in the region of £800, which sounds like a lot, but we reckon it would break to over a grand so there it is!
Fit the engine of your choice or take it back to original, the possibilities are out there!
I also have available by separate negotiation, a CP series TR6 engine, in bits and in need of TLC but nearly complete and with most of the PI kit including original Lucas pump and distribution unit ( the centre injection throttle body is missing)

PM me for more details if you're interested, pics below......
