Hello everyone!
Posted a thread about a week ago asking for advice on getting my 77 1300 started, and thanks to all your advice , she started for what I believe is the first time in about 18 years ! The first step in getting the dolly back on the road!
Now... Just the clutch, brakes, lights and fuel pump and a hundred other things to go
Hi everyone!
Sorry to revive and old thread but its time for the next job and therefore next advice....
Right. Clutch is next on the list. What is the exact problem you ask? Well, that's where my first problem lies. The pedal is absolutely solid. (Non-depressed position). Clutch isn't my strong point.. my ideas been it may be something to do with the cylinders or is it liking to require a full kit. So....here's where you expert come in , hopefully . What's my first step?
You'll either need to rebuild or replace the clutch slave & master cylinders, once these are working & the clutch lever is operating, then see if the clutch plate is stuck.
Is this going to be an ongoing thread of your progress with the car? If so, I can move it to the "resto" section of the forum.
