Suspension torque settings
Hi, Im hoping someone might know the answer to this. Im in the process of torquing up my front suspension but the manual ive got is hopeless in giving a description as to which part it is referring to and in some cases just missing parts out.. the diargram below shows the parts i dont know the settings for (in pounds per foot if possible) and i hoped someone out there did??

Re: Suspension torque settings
These need to be torqued up with the wheels on the ground except for the ones for the bracket (number 2 on your pic). You can mimic this by putting jacking the car up under the balljoint until it just comes off the axle stand and is taking the weight of the car at that corner. Don't forget to keep the axle stand in position in case the car falls off the jack or it fails.

Re: Suspension torque settings
These are Sprint settings, but I can't imagine why a Toledo would be different:
1 = 65 lb ft
2/4 = 32 lb ft for 3/8" UNC and 20 lb ft for 5/16" UNC
3 = 38 lb ft
The workshop manual mentions tightening the fixings before refitting the wheel and lowering the car to the ground when refitting the lower wishbone (60.35.02) and doesn't mention mimicking the weight of the car on the wheel at all.
