Sprint chain tensioners again

#1 Post by tony g »

Does anyone have any experience with FAI tensioners? Came across one the other day, looks quite good.

Can it be much worse than the cra* for sale these days? FAI Automotive are not bad for gaskets and things and they do not list the sprint tensioners anymore so maybe its an old one?. Ive never used them hence the question.

:D

It can happen that it's an original one. Sometimes in NOS aftermarket sets like this some components are not made by that manufacturer and they use an original item to be able to sell a "complete kit".

I use for example Supra NOS wheelbearing kits for a dolomite because they have skf bearings in it. Maybe you can ask if there's any make on the tensioner and then you know.
