4 door to 2 door toledo

Might be a stupid question but here goes anyway can a 4 door be converted into a 2 door and if do has it been done

Yes it can, that's my 1300fwd.

The only bit you can't get (without cutting up a donor) is the panel work that goes inside the side windows,Oh and the sills are slightly different where it meets the b post.

I don't see the point in converting a 4-door car. Is it really worth the effort? Gordon's situation is different. His projects have been going on for as long as I can remember and back then, the cars were a bit more plentiful. It would've been best to get a 2-door car if that's what you REALLY wanted. I appreciate that Toledos in general are getting thin on the ground so you had to get what you could. Also, you might have problems insuring such a modified car and if it isn't done properly, it could be dangerous.

Please think this through and consider what has been said.
