Toledo Carbs

Hi, I have fitted Twin HS4 Carbs to my Toledo 1300, Can anyone tell me which Needles to use.

According to my trusty Triumphtune manual you need to fit the AAU needles. Have a look on e-bay, there was a chap in Havant selling new ones for just a couple of quid each.

I fitted twin HS4s to a 1300 Dolomite that I had about 25 years ago and they made quite a difference to the way it went. I also fitted the cast manifold and twin down-pipe from a 1500, which helped too.

I did this very conversion to my Dolomite 1300 7 years ago. Ideally, you need the whole Dolly 1500 exhaust because it is a larger bore than the 1300 and the mountings are the same so it will fit. As for the needles, I would've gone with ABT needles as used on the Dolly 1500 with the standard airbox. Richer needles would be required with a K&N type air filter.
