How do you adjust the headrests. I can't see a button or leaver and gentle pushing and pulling has no effect.

You will need to give it a good tug (Oo-er!). They can be a bit difficult to remove.

The most dangerous headrests in the world...!!!
Be careful when adjusting them as they aren't easy to move and they very well may cause you damage in one way or another!
Maybe use something as a lubricant (a light spray of WD40 perhaps?!) on then 'pole' of the headrest before trying to give it a violent yank...
Let us know how you get on...

Still having no luck getting the headrests out. There seems to something stopping them, they move about 6-7 inches then hit a stop of some kind. However hard i pull it won't budge.

There is a spring pin or clip on the left of the headrest when looking at the headrest from the outside of the car - this is stopping you from removing the headrest, if this can be pushed in - then your on a winner.

What a great post! Those pics from our friends on the other side of the pond are great (for a technophobe like me lol)

I told you so...
When I bought my Sprint, the previous owner (Mark) had done a seat swap so I helped him finish it off. The old seats still had the head restraints in so Mark sat on the seat and I just yanked the head restraints out. Quite a bit of force might be needed so they can suddenly let go.
