Nuts!

#1 Post by Purplebargeken »

Nuts indeed.

The rear bumper nuts and bolts on the 1300 Dolly are FUBAR, totally and utterly. They will need to be ground off

Does anyone have the size/dimensions of the following:

The two bolts that secure the bumper side pieces to the rear 1/4 panels. These actually came off but are knackered.

The 4 nuts and bolts that secure the bumper side pieces to the centre section of the rear bumper.

RB do not supply them anymore and I cannot proceed any further until I have suitable replacements in my sweaty palm.

Cheers

The bolts are 5/16 UNF, not sure how long they are but I have ssome spare captive nuts that fit, I will put them in with the indicator lens.

The bolts are BH605241, 5/16"UNF x 3" long
(I tried changing these for metric M8 stainless steel but couldn't persuade the caged nuts I had bought to fit satisfactorily. I could have
made bespoke caged nuts but didn't think it was worth all the effort.)

These are set screws, HU806, 5/16"UNF x 3/4" long (it will be possible to use M8 x 20 mm long metric set screws instead).
