#1 Post by Dolly-Dimple »

Can anyone please advise the actual colour name of my 73 Dolly? Is it just "Triumph White" code 19??

Thanks in advance

Kind Regards

Yes Russell, Triumph white 19.
However.....

There are several different shades depending on the supplier, some are more creamy than others.
And of course over the years the paint is affected by the weather.
Best to get a paint shop to take a colour match from your car - pick the part you think looks best!

Thanks mate, much appreciated indeed :-) Its just a slight under bonnet freshen up until such times as i get the car painted next year at which point the under bonnet will get properly done along with the car. Chaps going to slightly freshen pre putting her lump back in :-)

Paint code 19 is known as old English white, I agree that you need to get it matched though I have found if you ask for triumph white you may end up with rover white and they are slightly different.

Many sincere thanks for that, much appreciated indeed. It sounds as though matching is the way to go. If a jobs worth doing right....
