Total waste of money! If you have an OHV Dolly/Tolly like your avatar and the head has not been off then the valve seats will have a limited "lead memory" which will help to marginalise valve seat recession unless you thrash it mercilessly. In the meantime save up a couple of hundred quid and get the head converted for unleaded ONLY when it starts to fail, which could be next week or 10 years hence!
But these lead replacement doohickies are a trap for the gullible!

How can you tell when it starts to fail because of the lack of lead?

When your valve clearances start to dramatically close up.

Hasn't happened yet on KAC despite 15 years, and 50 k miles of abuse, towing, tracks etc

Just been reading an old classic car mag from 2003 and in it was a TR7 and the recommended action was to spend £275 (with a famous Triumph parts supplier) on an unleaded head

I ran my Sprint on pump petrol for years including thrashing it and valve problems were not an issue.
Yes I know the iron engines are not so unleaded friendly.

Steve is bang on the money. Just run it on unleaded and save up for a rebuild for when the time comes.
