Dolly Sprint racer

#1 Post by dursley92 »

Just been watching some Classic Touring Car racing from Snetterton on Motors TV and there was a very quick Sprint driven by Mark Osbourne showing lots of folks how to do it. He only got beat by a big cat Jaguar XJ12 and an XJS but he gave them both a very hard time and was leading for a while.

Is Mark on here and do we know how he makes it go so quickly?

Met the guy at Thruxton a few years ago and he is very pleasant.
There is a video somewhere taken from a car as he hunts them down and passes, as you say very quick.
track action maniac.

That would be another Ken, Ken Osbourne.
It isn't Orange!!!!!!
The other one wasn't Purple either!!!
One of the new ones will probably be green, very green.
Another new one is green too but not as green as the previous one. Still pretty green. No, now it's Blue.
The other new one will be white with stripes. Actually it might not. No, it will be.
BUT, that one is definitely Yellow :=}

I watched that. They didn't say what all the smoke was coming off of Mark's Sprint but he obviously got it sorted for the next race.

Found this video on Youtube...

The Dolly catches that Honda S2000 and passes it pretty quickly, great stuff. You can see Mark working at the wheel nicely.
Couple of screen captures from the video:-
