Front brake drums
Hi, Does anyone know whether Toledo front drums are the same as Marina ones? I'm having trouble finding a new pair

Re: Front brake drums
Marina ones are wider, I know the shoes are the same as an HA Viva van but these have a different wheel PCD
I have a used pair of Toledo front drums, in fact I have the whole assemblies with uprights, hubs, cylinders, shoes etc from project SB that I converted to disc. PM me if you are interested.

Re: Front brake drums
sorry to jump in, but I was wondering wether it is possible to upgrade the drum brakes without changing to disks. Can 'bigger' drums be adapted to fit? (along with braided hoses, better compound shoe material, different bore master/slave cylinders?)
Well.......
I suppose if money was no object, you could commission a set of finned alloy brake drums.
Me, I wouldn't go that way, I would convert to calipers and vented discs.
Ian.

Re: Front brake drums
What on earth is the reason for not converting to discs with so many bits around to help....

Re: Front brake drums
brake upgrades are a way off yet, just wanting to see if anyone else had explored the option.

Re: Front brake drums
Basically, no one would upgrade a drum assembly when a much more efficient disc upgrade (or 3) is readily available.
