NORTHERN DOLLY DAY Sunday 3rd July 2016

#1 Post by Toledo Man »

I've had a reply from the organiser and we can have a club stand so it is all set. I've already given Steve W. a heads-up so he can put something in the next edition of the magazine. It is at the same place as last year's NDD. The address is:
East Riddlesden Hall
Bradford Rd
Riddlesden
Keighley
BD20 5EL

East Riddlesden Hall is a National Trust property and you can find their website HERE I've also made this thread a sticky.

Edit: I've just sent out an e-mail to my list of local members.

It was a better turnout than last year with 8 club cars and a few other club members besides who were spectating because their Dollies were out of action for various reasons (I was in that situation myself last year). All engine sizes were well represented but there were no Toledos or FWD cars. There were a couple of members from the Northeast (Chris & Graham) and I appreciate the fact that they made the effort to attend. It did go beyond my expectations so I'm really pleased with how it turned out. The weather stayed dry which helped. I think I might've persuaded a couple of more local club members to come to the meetings as well.

The roll call was as follows:

Dolomite 1300 x 2
1500TC x 1
1850 x 1 (mine)
Sprint x 4

I'll share my photos which I'm also going to send to Steve W. for the next edition of the mag along with a few words.
