My work mate has just brought a 79 T plate vermillion Sprint which seems a little robbed of parts.
I have managed to sort him out with a Starter motor, Dash, Fuel tank, rear seat and Load valve.
One of the main concerns and final problem is that the wiring to the coil has been cut off/ robbed.
Can someone on here kindly take a picture showing what wires go to the coil and show where from please.
Many thanks guys

Re: Wires to coil
No pics but a description. You should have a ballasted feed from switch to coil plus, joined to a white with red tracer ballast bypass feed
from the starter. Both go to coil plus and are often joined into a single spade terminal.
Then you have a white and slate grey tracer which goes to the coil negative from the rev counter. Then also on coil negative you have the
lead to the points which is a female spade often.
Hope that helps. I usually go for a 12V non ballasted coil and feed it direct from fuse box, ignition fed fuse and non fused side.

Note from Admin: sadly Jon passed away in February 2018 but his humour and wealth of knowledge will be fondly remembered by all. RIP Jonners.

Re: Wires to coil
My description is slightly different. A white/pink is ballasted feed and goes coil +. A white/yellow is the bypass from the starter and goes also coil +. Neg coil is as Jonners a white/slate and a distributor wire.
