Electrical switch help

[80Sprint]

I found two old toggle switches and I want to use one for my sunroof. I need on/off/on and both have three stages. One is a Lucas one and from an internet search I think it is off/on/on and may have been a sidelight/ headlight switch.
The other one I can't track down but is also three position.
5 spade terminals on the back
One marked 8
One marked 6
One marked 4
Two joined together marked 7 and also what looks like an L next to it.

Any idea how I test to see what configuration this switch is ?
