Ride height.

The Haynes Manual gives ride height for a Sprint as 4 inches.
Can anyone tell me where the ride height should be measured.
Most car manuals state specific points where measurements should be taken.

No idea where they get 4" from, even my race car has more ground clearance than that. The best way to measure ride height is from the road wheel centre to the lower edge of the guard above. That eliminates differences in tyre sizes etc. There has been a lot of previous discussion on:

Also you don't have to grovel on the ground to measure it.
