I have been the proud owner of 3 different 1850 TDs and, I am sure I don't need to tell you, Triumph's, in general, have character that other cars don't have particularly cars of today! I have an 1850 Triumph Dolomite that I would love to get restored to pristine health!

I was on the TD forum several years ago but unfortunately various other things took priority and so my poor Dolly got pushed to the bottom of a very long list! I would love to get my TD restored and be a proud owner again and wonder if anyone can recommend a garage or person that could do this for me without ripping me off? I only want to restore it once!!! I am in the south east of England but, if there is a garage or person, that restores TDs elsewhere that would like to bring my Dolly back to good health then, as long as they can take it by truck, that's ok by me. It's been standing outside now for almost 6 years and has a couple of areas, at least, that are rusty and will need a complete bare metal re-spray. All the electrics need to be replaced and doubtless it requires a lot of attention under the bonnet & elsewhere too! It doesn't have overdrive but if this too could be added then that would be good along with some sort of power assisted steering if this is possible.
Thanks guys!
