Part numbers

#1 Post by HQentity »

Hello all!

Does anyone know what the part number is for the tiny square plastic trim clips, that hold the metal trim on the top of the door, between the handle and the glass?! The other number I'm looking for is the bit of rubber between the subframe and the body, the furthest part of the subframe towards the back by the wheels.

Many thanks!

This image shows an exploded view of the subframe mountings - take your pick for the rubber bit you need: http://www.rimmerbros.co.uk/ItemImages/ ... 008485.gif
I think the trim clips you are after are 617243 - there are 20 per car.

If it's the same trim then Chris Witor sells an alternative that's only 38p each or £8 from Bresco for a bag of 20.
Current fleet: '75 Sprint, '73 1850, Daihatsu Fourtrak, Honda CG125, Yamaha Fazer 600, Shetland 570 (yes it's a boat!)

Past fleet: Triumph 2000, Lancia Beta Coupe, BL Mini Clubman, Austin Metro, Vauxhall Cavalier MK1 & MK2, Renault 18 D, Rover 216 GSI, Honda Accord (most expensive car purchase, hated, made out of magnetic metal as only car I've ever been crashed into...4 times), BMW 318, Golf GTi MK3 16v x 3

The Rimmer's version of 617243 looks much more like the ones I have on my spare door.

...... but at £1:50 each they are a bit pricey !
