Before I get, 'what did you expect' please read on. I have just purchased a set of 'new' boot trim from Rimmer's, it arrived swiftly as always and was obviously flat,. Delighted that you can still get this stuff as mine was destroyed years ago, how do I now get this stuff, firstly to bend without splitting or cracking and secondly bend in the correct place. I did think it would arrive flat but also expected that it would be possible to bend it at the correct place. Has anyone else bought these and got them to work? Measurements would be appreciated for the left and right trim with pictures, if that's possible or do I just send them back . Thanks chaps.
Seriously though, millboard is supposed to curve easily (I bought a sheet of I think 2mm thick stuff years ago that came as a roll) on it's own but the damper it gets the more flexible it becomes.
