100 Miles on Small Wheels for Charity

#1 Post by YoungManGoneWest »

In a foolish moment I signed up to participate in the 100 mile closed roads cycle race that forms part of next year's Velo Birmingham. I'm doing so on a folding Brompton bike, and to raise funds for the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Birmingham, where the cancer treatment and care is second to none.

I've set a target of a minimum of £1,000 in sponsorship donations, and am happy to say that so far £720 has kindly been donated. If any TDC members / forum users would like to add to the total, I would be very grateful. Sponsorship donations can best be made by this link:

Sponsor the pain!

Very many thanks.

Regards,
Richard

I've had a few similar foolish moments in the past, and we need more people to have ones like this.
