dolomite sprint modified

#1 Post by koukos1 »

Hi all
As i mentioned in previews post I'm in the process of building a dolomite sprint almost race spec. obviously i need to change the brakes but I want to keep the original rims. I've read about the trackerjack conversion kit. Is there a specific place on internet to buy? Do I have to change or modify the rest of the brakes system (master and slave cylinders pipes etc) ? I'm also interested in green laminated original windshield. Is there a way for new one? Thank you all

Drop Jon (Trackerjack is his handle on here) a PM for full details on his conversion. But Yes, it will fit under standard Sprint rims and no, you don't need to change the master cylinder. A special flexi is needed to adapt the system, but that's all. There is a thread in "Dolomite related" on the first page with pictures and installation instructions.

Alun (xvivalve) and I have a contact we are exploring for production of new tinted laminated screens. They won't be marked Triplex Sundym but they should be a good match in colour. We won't have one available for 3-4 months yet.
