Couple of parts queries

#1 Post by tinweevil »

Headlamp bowls; is there any alternative to the modern plastic ones? I have some recollection that someone found a Jag supplier still had the real steel deal, or am I imagining it? If it was a weird dream how awful are the plastic ones?

Windscreen seals; What is the latest on these? How do I tell if I've received one of the ones that don't fit.

Screen seals again; was it glycerine I read that restores rubber seals? I'd like if possible to save a rear no-trim seal.

Door seals; who has the least crap offering?

Windows inner & outer seals; same question.

Windscreen seals; What is the latest on these? How do I tell if I've received one of the ones that don't fit. they're all the same

Screen seals again; was it glycerine I read that restores rubber seals? I'd like if possible to save a rear no-trim seal. I used glycerine (chemists shop) on my non trim rear, it stopped it getting worse and is still on the car. I hung up the seal and rubbed glycerin on it several times a day for several days, then refitted.

Door seals; who has the least crap offering? Chris Witor, tell him it's for a Dolly and front or rear

Windows inner & outer seals; same question. Chris Witor, make sure you buy his clips and tell him they're for a Dolly

Just my tuppence. :D
