I am trying to remove the brake master cylinder from the servo on my 1979 Dolomite 1850.
The car has been sat for 15 years and I suspect that the spigot diameter has corroded inside the servo. I have sprayed loads of plus gas on it but no success.
I have tried tapping it in all directions too.
any other suggestions please?

I'd suggest some gentle heat but that might not be such a good idea with all the PlusGas. It might need a bit more time to work it's magic.

Yep, some stick like you wouldn't believe.
Heat can help as can gentle percussion; I say gentle as on the car I bought that had no wheels, my 'tapping' caused the reservoir (which had admittedly gone brittle) to shatter!

Maximum leverage on the end of the cylinder both up and down and side to side.
They always come off in the end.

Apparently pushing hard on a brake pedal with no fluid in the system is the sure fire way to destroy the unique bakelite component in a Sprint servo, especially, for some reason, those fitted with a single line cylinder...but the good news is reported in my post about servos...
