It was my wife and I returning from Highley after seeing Steve (Maverick) about my overheating problem.

No, not yet. Need to check waterpump housing bore for obstruction and give it a good wash through for blockages. Next step is to take head off for cracks, probably new head needed, but still have shows to go to so maybe later in year. Steve suggested leaving bonnet open (not fully!) to help flow of air out of engine bay, that does help. Still would like to pop over and see you for a chat, but very busy at the moment, maybe next week but will phone first.
