I will need to change my 1500 transmission tunnel for a Sprint one. I have seen the club have GPR ones and I am wondering whether to do that or try and buy a metal one from a member or elsewhere. Assuming any GPR tunnels are left.
Now I am a clumsy sod, so one of my concerns is strength. If it can be broke, I will break it. How do the GPR panels fair when they have to be removed multiple times? How easy are they to fit?

Re: Sprint transmission tunnel
There are an infinite number left as I get them laid up to order.
I've not personally fitted one myself, but there are a few out there who should have by now, hopefully they'll comment positively. The first fitting will be the hardest as you'll have to cut the various holes required... The original relies on a rubber seal which doesn't work with the GRP version, so you'll need some sealant...
They are quite robust, I think you'd have to go some to break one...

Re: Sprint transmission tunnel
No problem, having received another order, the mould is now with the fabricator and I've asked him to lay up a couple of units, so should have one in stock when you are in a position to order one.
