Sprint Servos

#1 Post by xvivalve »

I now have a (very) limited supply of reconditioned Sprint servos as I've had three that I had in my own stock done. One is already allocated to a member who has sent me his in exchange, but I have another couple now being assessed.

These cost £145 each, but there is a strict exchange surcharge of £100 on top which will be refunded upon receipt of a SERVICEABLE sprint unit in exchange. If the bakelite diaphragm has suffered damage, or if the case is corroded, then they are NOT currently serviceable, but research continues in respect to an aluminium substitute so don't throw any units away at the moment.

Carriage by UPS is £12.00

Incidentally, the damage to the bakelite is apparently caused if the pedal is depressed whilst the cylinder is empty or removed, as this allows greater movement which punches a hole through the diaphragm. More common with single circuit for some reason...

I'll be down at the van at the beginning of March and can take them up to Alun for you if you like Mart. I also have one duff Sprint servo to throw in the pot.
