Hi All
I'm keen to know if any one supplies the engine mounting to mount the engine in an engine stand, looks like it bolts in to the exhaust manifold bolt holes? Also the wooden cradle for the gearbox?
cheers

James 467 is your man he is going into production with the engine stand adaptor for slant engines in the near future (it actually bolts to the N/S engine mounting pad) He's also made a wooden engine/gearbox trolley though I don't think he intends to make these commercially available too, he might furnish dimensions so you can knock one together yourself!

Re: Wooden gearbox mounting and engine mounting for a engine stand
Yep I am.
I made another prototype using a different method of production and it is quicker to produce and requires less faffing around.
I need to make a jig for the tubes that bolt to the engine as these need to be 100% accurate for it to be safe and for it to fit correctly.
Unfortunately DTR and half term have got in the way!
As for the engine and gearbox transport dollys they are made from scrap wood and some angle, I will take some photos and give the dimensions for them this afternoon.

The gearbox one should fit a Sprint box as well.
