Cracked bulkhead repairs

Went to see the chap who now owns UG SLOW to drop off a part. He also complained about a lack of performance and a wonky throttle pedal. Being somewhat younger and bendier than Alan I checked out the pedal mount.

Whilst rust free two cracks have appeared from the large loom hole which are causing the pedal to move around and the builkhead to move really quite a lot.

Anyone got any experience of repairing this area? It's wants to fix it but can't do it himself. Once fixed I recommend fitting a strengthening plate which I've fitted to mine.

Any help ir recommendations welcome. Unlikely he'll travel and cost of repair needs to be low.

Great guide. Now all I need for him is someone to do it!

If he's local to you Mark, then he's not too far from me! It'd be a couple of weeks before I could get it in though.

He's in Uttoxeter so about 15 mins from me. It would be amazing if you could help.

I'm in south Shropshire, 7 miles south of Bridgnorth and about 35 miles from Stafford showground, an hours run, taking it easy.

you'd be looking at about £70 including fitting a new stiffener (I keep one in stock) the welding only takes 5 minutes, but the stripping out and cleaning and reassembly is quite time consuming, but necessary, as I HATE setting fire to customers cars!
