fuel pump leak 1500fwd
fitted a new fuel pump and gasket but go a very slight leak from under the pump where it joins to the head. tightened it up nicely but still there. it came with 2 gaskets which i believe is for cars with a spacer which mine doesnt have - fitted the 1 gasket - any ideas on stopping the leak please?

make sure both surfaces are clean and fit a decent gasket

I had the same problem on my Sprint, bought a new pump which came with the usual thin gaskets,
but ordered at the same time a thicker gasket just in case, and yes it was needed, (from Robsport).
Pic of the thicker one, its about 2mm, compared with the thin one at .05mm.
