Heater box

#1 Post by sprintchris »

Hi,

Taking the heater box out of the Sprint as I want to take it apart and clean it out, it’s pretty much caked in years of dust and grime.

Would anyone know of any links showing a unit dismantled, I see it’s all riveted together so I’m assuming not intended to be taken apart.

Many thanks in advance.

I have just had to replace the heater water control valve as it had started to leak. I did it while it was in the car but it was not an easy job due to its location. I suggest if you have the heater out I would consider replacing the valve. The complete valve cost about £45.

you can take this item to peices - everything comes out at one end, dismantle the linkages first then undo the self tapping screws and pull the end cover off.
