Dolomite 1500 TC - Lot of hot air from the controls

#1 Post by bazyerma »

Hi

When I have the fanr on in my car, alot of air comes out via the controls, is the normal, or is there a seal that's goosed?

I dont want to start ripping the dash apart, As i only got my car back on the road!

Regards

assuming its only when set to hot and not cold and you mean the hot air comes out by the controls instead of the vents, if so then the vent from heater box is damaged/ missing/ blocked or the foam seal is missing.
Some people are like Slinky's, they serve no real purpose in life but bring a smile to your face when you push them down the stairs.

Hi

Thanks, looking at drawing it looks like I am going to have to remove the heater and replace the seal, Bugger!
