There will be those amongst us who have experience of this problem; the steel union corrodes and binds with the steel pipe which feeds the clutch master cylinder, meaning the pipe either shears, or the cylinder has to be removed from the bulkhead in order to retrieve the pipe intact. Like this:

Copper pipe, brass union, brass olive at top end

Hi Paul, on the former, only if I see someone who is going prior, as I’ll be in Austria skiing, the first Triumph Show that I’ll miss in 27 or 28 years. The latter will rely on whether Martin is going or not, as he’s the keeper of those...

Another shiny thing to add to the list - I cobbled something together using extra hose and many jubilee clips but it's not pretty.
