Hello good people.

I am in need of a handbrake adjustment lever for my Sprint. Left hand / near side please.
Anybody have one spare they could let me have?

I think there's one left amongst Jon Tilson's things, but I'll have to find it to check which side it is....

Sorry all. I’ve just realised I’ve posted this in the wrong section. It should obviously be in “wanted”.
If a mod wants to move it for me please do..

How about these:-

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Triumph-GT6- ... 0005.m1851

Very late GT6 Mk3's had self adjusting rear brakes the same as the Sprint

 Holy crap! £50! I'm glad mine didn't go when I did my handbrake last month, I wasn't nearly careful enough with them clearly!

I don't see your problem. These are likely to will be very low volume manufacture being turned out in a small workshop possibly taking a couple of hours to make.
I am sure if the demand was higher, then an alternative method of manufacture would likely lead to a more reasonable price. For example the equivalent part for Spitfire would be around £12 for a pair and for Stag £30.

Surely a person is entitled to make a reasonable income from their hard work?

Of course a business should make money otherwise what's the point but I too thought along similar lines to 'holy crap £50 ' it IS a lot of money for what is a small part (and I hope those rivets hold) that can't be seen but obviously is needed, unless you swap to non adjustable set up which would end up costing about the same.

I have seen the eBay items, and whilst I appreciate the time on manufacture that someone has taken, I won’t be paying £50 for them just yet. I would probably buy them if I needed a pair, but as I only need the left hand side, I’ll hold out for a second hand one for now. It is nice to know that they are available though, because if one doesn’t turn up I may have to bite the bullet.

Cheers for your help though, and if you do see a left hand one anywhere let me know. I will email Geoff at Wins because I’m sure he will have one available, but I wanted to try through the forum first - keep it in the club if you see what I mean?.........

These levers are the same on all 1500 and 1850 Dolomites,
as well as the Sprint.

It is now in 2nd class post so you should get it in the next couple of days. I am pleased to be able to help as various other club members have helped me out in the past with various bits.
