For everything to do with Dolomites, Toledos, FWD cars and Dolomite-based kitcars.

Toledo vs dolomite rear wing

#1 Post by Albuzz »

Hi, does anyone know if the rear wheel arch part of the rear winch has the same profile (wheel arch shape/radius suage lines etc.? So that it could be used as a reoair panel. My guess is that it is the same since I think the suage lines are the same. Thanks Alan

I'm not sure if you mean to use a Dolomite repair panel on a Toledo or visa versa, but the swage lines differ between Toledo and Dolomite rear wings. Using a (now rare) Dolomite repair panel on a Toledo would end up looking rather odd, and cutting up a Toledo wing to fit on a Dolomite would also look wrong.

It's probably better to use the club wheel arch repair panels for the appropriate model, than modify an incorrect panel.

As an example I placed one of my (non club) Dolomite rear wheel arch repair panels against my Toledo as shown below, it looks wrong in my opinion.
