Spring adapter issues

After sending my Gaz set up back I now find I have an issue with the AVO mounts. I assume the spring should sit over the adapter to lock in the small diameter spring better. . The spring fits over neither adapter and the adapter for the rear is not a great fit in the cap either. Anyone else had issues ? From some forum pictures I think other adapters look different .
I can believe the issues I have had getting this back in the road since the end of May.

I have realised they are probably adaptors for larger springs and not top locating adaptors. I will give AVO a call tomorrow.

Is that the right springs, My Avo springs are parallel (don't tapper in at the bottom)?
