Wanted to post a public well-done to Chris. I had a great day helping on Friday. The stand was well set-up, we had lots of volunteers - we could all have some time off. 4 interesting cars, all shiny; and Chris had his wonderful Toledo out "for the first time in 38 years"
It took a lot of work, but it was going really well, with some new members and lots of people visiting, chatting, seeking advice etc
I hope the remaining days continued similarly.
WELL DONE CHRIS!

Re: NEC the big show.
Well it's not very often that something makes my day, so thanks for that
Massive thanks to you, Stephen Read the other stand organiser and the other volunteers. At the end of day 2 I think we can already call it a very successful show for the club with about 10 new members and lots of interest in the cars.
And sorry for not taking you up on your kind offer of help earlier, I was a little too occupied but trying to get the car finished

Richard and I really enjoyed our day on Saturday on the stand. Well done Chris for all the hard work - what a good organiser you are.
Lots of people to chat to during the day and lots of positive interest - very encouraging.

Yes, nothing but praise for Chris’s efforts and all who helped out; another opportunity to place the Club favourably well exploited.
