Yellow Sprint P Reg M2 23:15

#1 Post by Bish »

Lovely Sprint was passed by us on the way back from the cinema tonight, quite late on the M2.
Whole family staring at it and the lone driver as we passed in our daily hack V50. Well done you who ever you may be for driving the car at this time of year, and at quite a pace too!
Made my day.

Could have been me as i'm based just outside of Maidstone. However mines a 1500HL in Yellow/Cream with stickers. Did the driver look like a viking? if so, defo me...

No I don’t think it was you. It was deffo a sprint .

I’ve just read your other post about your mot failure. Do not get rid of the car, that failure list is not too big a deal! Like others have said the welding is the biggest of the jobs. The rest is easy. Find a more sympathetic to classics mot station for the next test. I use ACE MOT in Larkfield. Pete doesn’t say much about triumphs as he is a Ford man, but owns classics himself so is sensible with the laws.

Sorry I can’t recomend a welder off the top of my head because I do any welding needed on my cars myself. But I wouldn’t say I’m good enough to tackle someone else’s car. Although Brian Wilson now springs to mind from a few years back, mobile welder based in Maidstone. Maybe worth an internet search?

Good luck, and let us know how you get on
