From the Sprint lower 35A fuse there are 5 green wires going to various switches and components. I cannot understand why, with 6 spade terminals available on that side of the fuse box, Triumph decided to group the green wires 2 + 1 + 2 and use only 3 of the spade terminals. I recently had to troubleshoot a blown fuse (the switch for the heated rear window had worked loose and was shorting) and I now have an initial idea of which green wire goes where. Does anyone know exactly where the inner and outer wires of the 2 pairs go?
* voltage stabiliser and then to dashboard gauges
* Windscreen washer/wiper switch
* Windscreen wiper motor
* Reversing lamp switch
* Heated rear screen switch
(Not sure if this picture has uploaded correctly...)
I know the wiper/wash switch and wiper motor (park) wires are paired at the fusebox, it's one of the few things I didn't need to change when installing my 16 fuse board.
I'll have to check on a car for the others, I don't think the wiring diagram differentiates. But my best guess is the VS and HRW feeds share a spade and the reverse/OD feed is the single.
Although there's only 1 (dark) green lead into the instrument panel, it splits inside the dash loom and goes to several places, choke, brake and low fuel lights in the warning light cluster, flasher unit and HRW switch of course. another green splits off inside the main loom to feed the brake light switch.
