Anyone know the where abouts of Dolomite

For everything to do with Dolomites, Toledos, FWD cars and Dolomite-based kitcars.

Anyone know the where abouts of Dolomite

#1 Post by dollyman »

Hi folks, does anyone know the whereabouts of an Inca yellow Dolomite 1500HL KLH730V or even if it still on the road? A previous owner has contacted me, and apparently the chap that bought it off him was a forum user.
Many thanks,

Tony.

Not been taxed for the last 7 years, not on SORN so most likely gone.

It used to be done a lot years ago Richard, not exactly legal but it kept a few rarer cars on the road. I think people class them as a "recreation"

Legally the VIN plate and reg belong to the shell, so if you reshell a car it then should lose its identity.
The only way you can legally reshell and retain the reg is either using a brand new unused shell or an approved heritage shell.
Some people are like Slinky's, they serve no real purpose in life but bring a smile to your face when you push them down the stairs.

I previously owned this car. I brought it from Norwich to Huddersfield, West Yorkshire in 2007. I sold it to a couple called Bill and Sharron in 2009, they lived in South Yorkshire and had other Triumphs. I last saw it on 21st April 2010 when they called in to see me, it was still it brilliant condition then.
I've still got the phone number of Bill I sold it to still.
