I am looking for a 2 spoke steering wheel for my 1976 1300 Dolomite, I have seen one on Ebay which looks a bit rough, I don't know if they are a plastic coated metal frame or diecast aluminium etc,
I have also seen one with a crack through the holes which retain the centre boss, so I am curious.

The Toledo 2 spoke wheel is plastic coated over a wire frame. Think I have one left and may even have the plastic cover bit for the middle. Only problem is, they are huge! The 3 spoke Dolomite style wheel is, I think, stamped alloy, but doesn't come, AFAIK, with only 2 spokes. You might also get a MKII Triumph 2000 2 spoke wheel to fit, if you can find one.

Re: 1300 Dolomite, Toledo 2 spoke steering wheel - material
I have a Triumph Dolomite HL 14.5 inch steering wheel & adjustable steering column, which I substituted on my 1974 Triumph Toledo 1300 in 1982. I much prefer the 14.5 inch Dolomite steering wheel to the original 16 inch Toledo steering wheel; if only because the steering-column mounted stalk switches are much easier to operate. The Dolomite's insulated, padded steering-wheel rim is also more comfortable to hold, especially during very-cold or very-hot weather.Magenta Auto Sprint wrote: ↑Tue Jun 29, 2021 9:24 am I am looking for a 2 spoke steering wheel for my 1976 1300 Dolomite, I have seen one on Ebay which looks a bit rough, I don't know if they are a plastic coated metal frame or diecast aluminium etc,
